Grant is so big! He is talking up a storm. He says his abcs and can count to 10. He is such a sweet, funny little man. He continues to be obsessed with all cars and all things that drive including shopping carts and lawn mowers. He loves to dance and entertain anyone who will watch. He especially loves to run around naked for the 60 seconds we will let him and yells "nakies" while doing this.Grant turned two in October. We had a dinosaur party with the family. We made a mistake by letting G open the bulldozer first, he wouldn't even look at the other gifts.
Wow! We have had a great summer from Mariner's games to the zoo. The Myer's Cabin to the Hagen's Cabin. From Grant's first corn on the cob to hisfav- mac and cheese on the deck. We've made amazing memories and hope you enjoy these snaps.
Grant is getting so big. He has quickly moved from two word phrases to three. Here are some of our favorites things he says right now.
-mommy and daddy, mommy and daddy, mommy and daddy (he likes to say it three times in a row)
-Washington (i think Amanda taught him this one)
-yay, pizza
-oh, hi (in a sweet little voice)
-cleaning (as he is wipes any surface with a washcloth)
He sings:
-"head, toes" for head, shoulder knees and toes
- "yes sir, yes sir" for baa baa black sheep
- "baby baby baby" for his favorite Bieber song
Here are some pictures so you can see what we've been up to so far this summer.... Camano Island
Look at those rosie cheeks as he naps on grandpa ken!
Helping dad clean out the trailer. We barked and composted the yard, well Kyle mainly did while I tried to keep G entertained. I am not sure who had the harder job!
We hosted Easter last weekend for both of our fams. The weather held out for the egg hunt and we had a champagne bar, who could ask for a better day?!
Look the easter bunny brings Tonka trucks with Justin BieberCDs to our house!
His favorite gift of all...Biebs!
Kyle does his part by grating cheese for the word's best scalloped potatoes. I think he has some in his cheek like a little squirrel.
A little easter decor, Peeps galore! The trick is to let them sit out and get hard before you hot glue them. I used embroidery hoops for the wreath and topiaries.
A quick game of baseball with grandpa ken.
Amanda and Grant. Look closely to see what Grant is point at!
The easter egg hunt spectators.
And the cutest picture of them all...Amanda, Grant and Collin.
