Party boy in a striped sweater
Our G is a party boy! He LOVES dancing, listening to music, and anything loud and crazy. He went to his first Silvertips game and no suprise-he loved every minute of it. It must be the Canadian in him.

Complete! Kitchen face-lift
At the end of the summer, we reached our breaking point with our kitchen. We had one too many days looking at the 89' oak cabinets and worn laminate countertops. We are crafty, we are handy, we can do this!
Well, we painted the cabinets in September and then just got the granite counters last week. It was a crazy amount of work- each cabinet had primer and 2 coats of paint. We stewed for months over what countertop to use, but finally decided on granite that we got for a fabulous price, $2700 (including the new sink). I cannot tell you how much we love it. The deep sink, the countertops that never look dirty, and most of all.... that we are done!
