So Marce owed me after picking up a craigs list purchase for her. Marcie caught the january organizing bug and just had to have this $15 bookcase she found.
She treated us right and took us to the delicious Black Diamond Bakery. I had a yummy whole wheat apple cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting. I really wish I took a picture of that thing!

Around the House
First of all, I promised our number one baby, Gabby girl that she would make the post. Looks like we need to get someone a kitty bed.
Gabby had her friend Poppy for a 10 night slumber party. Here is the two of them playing in close proximity. Notice, I did not say play together, because they aren't that good of friends.
Kyle and I just love to hang out at home with our guy. We like to play, nap and see where the weekend takes us.
Grant is not too sure of his bumbo seat yet. I giggle ever time he sits in it. He just looks so funny because his body is disappears.

Grant loves to go in the stroller. You would think the gentle lulling of the walk would put him to sleep, but no. Kyle took him for an hour walk last week and he only slept the last 15 minutes. He just stare trees and sky with his big blue eyes. Poor winter baby, he barely knows what outside is! I just love his little hat and gloves!

3 Months Old
Grant is three months old!
Playing: He loves to stand (with help of course). He gets so excited, his eyes get big, and he spreads his arms out for balance. Just this last week, he has started to grab toys and hang onto them. He is "talking" a lot too. He yells for food instead of crying and makes all sorts of sounds like "gaa", "goo" and "baa."
Sleeping: Grant is sleeping better than last month. He is heading to bed at 7:00 p.m. and up at 5:30 p.m. Goodbye to sleeping in on the weekends! He will sleep for 4-5 hours in a row now. He takes three naps a day (7:00-8:00 a.m., 9:30-10:30 a.m., and 12:00-2:00 p.m.).
In preparation for my return to work, Grant started daycare this week. Here is a picture of his first day (he is sleepy). He did great and likes being around the other kids. He will go to daycare for 3 days and Grandma and Grandpa Hagen's the rest of the week. They are excited to have him, but won't start watching him until they are back from Palm Springs (oh, the retired life).

Clamming at the Ocean
This past weekend we went to the Ocean Shores to go razor clamming. We got our limit each day (15 it is). We came home with 200 + clams!
It was Grant's first overnight trip and he did great. The first night he stayed up way past his bedtime (we may have a partier on our hands). Kyle's friend, Mark, has a great house on the jetty and he graciously let use it.
Mom and Dad on our way out to clam
So sleepy!
The ladies cleaning clams- Mom, Audrey, and Esther.
